What the heck is PEX?
Commercial PlumberPEX (or crosslinked polyethylene) is a water supply piping system that has several advantages over metal pipe (copper or iron) or rigid plastic pipe (PVC, CPVC) systems. Pex piping is flexible and can be faster to install than metal or rigid plastic, and has fewer connections and fittings.
